(Riverdale, NY) - Junior David Kahana (Silver Spring, MD/MJBHA) barely missed a double-double, as he registered 11 kills and nine digs, and senior Joseph Bajtner (Skokie, IL/ICJA) added 15 assists, but the Yeshiva University Men's Volleyball team fell 3-0 to Mount Saint Vincent on Thursday night at Mount Saint Vincent. With the loss, Yeshiva is now 7-10 overall and 2-6 in Skyline Conference play.
Mount Saint Vincent swept the match 30-12, 30-17, and 30-22.
Yeshiva hit a respectable .078 against a very good Mount Saint Vincent team. The Maccabees also had a solid defensive evening with 16 combined digs. However, the service game proved to be Yeshiva's downfall as the Maccabees combined for 12 service errors and 18 receiving errors, accounting for exactly 1/3 of Mount Saint Vincent's points.
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday, March 8 when the Maccabees host NJCU at 12:00 p.m.
