David Kahana has been selected as the Skyline Player of the Week for his performance in Yeshiva's 3 matches this past week. The Macs went 2-1, losing to Ramapo 3-1 and then blanking Medgar Evers and Washington Adventist 3-0 on Sunday. Yeshiva stands at 5-4 overall.
David Kahana averaged 4.3 kills and 2.3 digs per set, while hitting .407 on the week. His 15 kills and 15 digs helped Yeshiva take their first ever set against NECVA powerhouse Ramapo, despite losing the match.3-1. He went on to total 28 kills and hit .472 on Sunday against Medgar Evers and Washington Adventist. The two wins put the Macs over the .500 mark on the season.
Yeshiva has two home contests this week, and an away tri-match on Sunday. They will host NYU-Poly on Wednesday and Cooper Union on Thursday, both at 8PM. Sunday's tri-match will be played at Sage along with Southern Vermont. Those matches begin at 1PM.
