NEW YORK - The Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) recently announced its women's cross country all-conference team, and Yeshiva University senior and team captain, Rivka Jakobov (Brooklyn, N.Y.) earned a spot on the squad for the second-consecutive season.

Jakobov started off the 2012 campaign by earning HVWAC Runner of the Week kudos (Sept. 11), after pacing YU with a fifth-place effort at the Sept. 9, Baruch Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park (29:14). She places 16th at the Oct. 14, St. John's Fall Festival (18:46.83), before pacing the Maccabees with a ninth-place run at the Oct. 21, HVWAC Championships (23:33).

Head coach Brendan Donoghue's Yeshiva side now awaits rescheduling information on its final two meets of the 2012 campaign - the Skyline Conference Championships, and the Halloween Run.
