BRONX, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University men's golf team recorded a very impressive 323-400 win against the Sage Colleges at the Pelham Bay Golf Course on Sunday. The Maccabees now improve to 1-1 this season.

Leading the effort for Yeshiva was junior Jacob Saks (79), and freshman Izak Held (80). Saks' score from the number five position reflects the depth of this year's team.  Also carding good rounds were junior Dan Schub (82), and freshman Solomon Shulman (82).  

The Maccabees will be back in action on Sunday for a battle against New Jersey City University, at the Pelham Bay Golf Course, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
