NEW YORK, N.Y. – Women's basketball junior forward Nicole Bick and men's basketball sophomore forward Simcha Halpert have been named the Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week.

Bick was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week, this past Tuesday. In Yeshiva's win over Pratt, back on December 18, Bick scored a career-high 31 points, while grabbing five rebounds and forcing two steals. The Edison resident also added 11 points with six rebounds against the City College of New York, this past Wednesday.

Halpert was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week, on Tuesday. He averaged 26 points per game over the last three contests. In Yeshiva's victory over FDU-Florham, this past Wednesday, Halpert led all players with 35 points, shooting 13-for-19 from the field and drilling nine 3-point field goals in the process. Against nationally-ranked No. 6 Ramapo College, back on December 21, the Los Angeles resident added 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and forced three steals. In a conference battle against Maritime, on December 19, Halpert scored a game-high 29 points with seven rebounds.
