Batsheva Lasky of the women's fencing team and junior outside hitter
Chaim Aryeh Rubin of the men's volleyball team.
In just her first year with the fencing program, Lasky qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional, earning 24 NCAA wins during the season. She won an epee bout in the opening round of the regional, on Sunday. Lasky also earned a spot on the EWFC All-Conference second team at the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference championships.
Rubin was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. In Yeshiva's thrilling come-from-behind Skyline win over Sarah Lawrence College on Sunday, Rubin produced a double-double with a career-high 23 kills to go along with 12 digs. The Skokie resident also scored three service aces, had two assists, and recorded two blocks. In three matches this week, Rubin averaged 2.82 kills and 1.91 digs per set. He produced 3.22 points per stanza.
