NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are sophomore
Gabi Chutter, of the softball team, and junior
Adam Rosemblaum, of the men's tennis team.
These two student-athletes earned a spot on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll, for their respective sports, on Monday.
Chutter had a .500 batting average (4-for-8) in three games played during the week. She went 3-for-3 with a run batted in and a run scored in game two against John Jay, last Monday evening. In game one of that double-header, she drilled an RBI single.
Rosemblaum went undefeated (2-0) in #1 doubles matches this week. He won the first doubles flight against Skyline rival St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 8-1, on Sunday. In the very same team match, he was victorious at the #1 singles position, 6-1, 6-0, which propelled Yeshiva to its 26
th straight conference win. The Herzliya resident also won at #1 doubles against Division I Fordham University, 7-6, this past Friday. In the first singles position against the Rams, he won four games over the course of two sets.
