NEWARK, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's cross country team competed in the 2018 Brick City Classic, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology, at Newark School Stadium on Sunday, April 29. Four members of the program competed in various distance events.
In the 1500 meter run, sophomore
Jonathan Greenberg rounded out the top-10, completing the race in 4:38.44. Classmate
Jakob Deutsch finished 19
th overall in the 800 meter event, with a time of 2:19.24.
In the 5000 meter run, junior
Yonatan Schreiber finished 10
th overall, with a time of 18:03.76. Right behind him was classmate
Yosef Pfeffer, who was the 11
th runner to complete the race, at the 18:28.75 mark.
In the 4x400 meter relay race, Greenberg, Deutsch, Schreiber, and Pfeffer combined forces to finish second overall as a team, completing the race in 9:56.60.
The Yeshiva University men's cross country team will race again in September of 2018.
