NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are freshman
Chana Boltax of the softball team, and junior
Adam Rosemblaum of the men's tennis team.
In Yeshiva's upset victory over the College of New Rochelle, in game one back on April 27, Boltax drilled a three-run inside-the-park home run to left field, giving Yeshiva a 5-0 lead. The home run proved to be the difference, as Yeshiva was able to hang on and win the game, 11-10. Boltax also added a single during the contest.
Rosemblaum was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Skyline Championship match, after he led the Maccabees to its fifth straight Skyline title and automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. The Herzliya native went 2-0 at #1 singles, and won both matches at #1 doubles, during the conference championships. Rosemblaum also earned a spot on the Skyline All-Conference first team.
