Biography
2017-18: Qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional for the fourth year in a row, where he earned a victory in the opening round of pool competition for foil... finished 37th overall, out of 83 fencers, in the final standings for foil, and earned five wins in the first two rounds to earn a spot in the single-elimination bracket at the Temple Open (10/29)... earned 12 wins, including nine NCAA victories, at the Vassar Invitational (11/12)... went 10-2 in the MACFA "A" vs. "B" event (11/19)... won six out of nine bouts in the MACFA "B" Round Robin meet (2/11)... led the way by winning 14 out of 18 bouts in the MACFA "B" vs. "C" meet (2/18)... qualified for the single-elimination bracket foil tournament, and finished in the top 16, at the MACFA championships (3/4)... received the Arthur D. Tauber award, for the fourth year in a row, and was named the Yeshiva University Male Graduating Student-Athlete of the Year for individual sports at the annual athletics banquet (5/8).
2016-17: Qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional where he won two bouts... won seven bouts to make it to the second round of the elimination bracket and finished 21st overall at the Temple University Open (10/30)... won 18 out of 23 bouts at the Vassar Invitational (11/13)... won 14 out of 15 bouts in the MACFA "A" vs. "B" event (11/20)... won six out of nine bouts at the Eric Sollee MIT Invitational (2/5)... won five bouts in the MACFA "B" Round Robin (2/12)... went 11-4 in foil competition in the MACFA "B" vs. "C" event (2/19)...advanced to the second round of the elimination tournament, and finished sixth overall, at the MACFA Championships (3/5)... received the Arthur D. Tauber award at the annual athletics banquet (5/15).
2015-16: Qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional and advanced to the second round... won bronze at the MACFA Championships (2/28)... earned 14th place in foil at the Temple Open (11/1)… won 22 out of 24 bouts in the Vassar Invitational (11/15)… won six out of 12 bouts in the MACFA “B” vs. “C” event (11/22)... picked up two NCAA wins at the MACFA "B" Round Robin (2/7)... received the Arthur D. Tauber award (5/9).
2014-15: First season competing in collegiate fencing for Yeshiva University… went 38-13 during his rookie year...qualified for the NCAA Northeast Regional... received the Arthur D. Tauber award (5/6).
Personal: Majoring in "Music" and "Medicine"... was a gold and bronze medalist in the Vienna, Austria Maccabi Games in 2011.
