Michal Alge had an incredible year for Yeshiva. The rookie was a key member of both the women's basketball and softball teams. For women's basketball, she averaged a double-double per game with 10.4 points and 11.3 rebounds. She was also named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week twice. For softball, she produced an outstanding .362 batting average, scoring ten runs and driving in 13. In the field, she recorded 160 putouts.

People say that playing sports at Yeshiva University means giving up your social life, but for me it's been the opposite. Being a student athlete has led me to meeting some great people and its awesome that I get to hang out with them basically every night. |
