Junior infielder Liat Wasserman has led the Yeshiva University softball lineup to start the season. The Chestnut Hill resident is currently (as of April 14) hitting .308 with eight runs scored and just as many hits. She produced two triples in a sweep of Yeshiva's season-opening double-header against Valley Forge on March 2. In the first end of that twin-bill, Wasserman notched two hits and scored three runs. In game two, she scored three more runs and stole a base. 

Academically, Wasserman is majoring in both Biology and Film Production. The second base standout said that the team loves to cheer, leaving their hearts on the field and enjoying every moment as it comes.
