At-Home Recreation and Wellness Guide

 It is important to ensure your physical and mental well-being are being prioritized, and while we all need to practice social distancing, that does not mean you cannot continue to participate in activities you enjoy!

Please be sure to check out the programs, services, and continually growing list of resources brought to you by the Yeshiva University Department of Athletics and Recreation. We are able to work in conjunction with other departments to make an inclusive resource to address a plethora of physical and mental wellness practices that can be performed following your local governmental guidelines. 

 

Fitness Resources 

 
Peloton offers thousands of live and on-demand classes for a variety of different types of workouts. You can choose from toning, strength, running, yoga, and meditation. And with many people social distancing right now, Peloton increased its free trial to 90 days (from 30).

Offers over 200 completely free workouts that walk you through the moves step-by-step and tell you exactly what workout equipment you need. 
 
 You can access free workouts via their YouTube channel. Includes free HIIT workouts posted daily using no or only “at home” equipment.
 
            
This can be used as a fun way to challenge your friends to running challenges, and to keep each other accountable and motivated.

 
 
This app includes free digital personal training, which grants access to 600 audio and video workouts and hundreds of DJ mixes to keep you moving in the gym, outside or at home through May 31st, 2020! Use promo code “FIT60” at goldsamp.com/promo and get started.
 
                
Provides free at home “work ins” available every day at 7pm on Facebook live, as well as on their YouTube page.
GPS cycling and running app that allows you to track your workouts, join Challenges, and connect virtually with other athletes. 
 
 
Provides free full length workout videos, workout routines, healthy recipes and more. 
High-intensity workouts that work every part of your body. Videos are of varying lengths to accommodate any schedule.
 
             
   
 Provides Yoga, HIIT, Barre, and 7 minute workouts for free for all students and teachers until July 1st
