Neil Ellman has served as head coach of the Yeshiva University wrestling team since 1970. With over forty-four years experience at the helm, he is one of the longest tenured wrestling coaches in the NCAA.

Before his coaching appointment with Yeshiva, Ellman was a student at the College. He graduated from the Washington Heights campus in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He was a two year wrestler at Yeshiva where he lost just one match in two years. Prior to Yeshiva, the Chattanooga, Tennessee native attended the University of Tennessee where he was a member of its wrestling program.

Ellman resides in Suffern, N.Y. and is a member of the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
