NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva women's volleyball team dropped their final contest before a month break, to Sarah Lawrence College Wednesday night. Game scores were 10-25, 21-25, and 17-25. The Maccabees are 0-8 on the season.
Abigail Smolensky (Houston, TX/Beren Academy) led the team with 8 digs in the match, and Littal Kravetz (Hollywood, FL/Hillel) came off the bench to record 3 blocked shots. Dena Shayne (Great Neck, NY/YUHS) led the team with 5 kills, days after being named to the HVWAC Honor Roll for her great play the previous week.
The Maccabees will not be in action again until October 15th, when they travel to Bard College for an 8:00PM contest.
