NEW YORK, NY – The women's soccer team went on the road Thursday afternoon for a Skyline match-up with Old Westbury and fell 10-0. The loss leaves Yeshiva looking for their first win at 0-6 (0-4) overall. The Panthers improved to 9-5 (5-1) on the season.
The Maccabees managed only 2 shots on goal as the Old Westbury defense shut down the offensive pressure of Yeshiva. The Yeshiva defense forced 12 offside calls on Old Westbury.
Meira Lerner played her second straight game in goal, stopping 9 shots in all 90 minutes.
Yeshiva will take a trip to Sage on Sunday for a 1PM game. As of Friday, the Gators stand even on the season at 5-5 (3-3) with a game to play on Saturday.
