NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva women's soccer team dropped Sunday's match at NYU-Poly 4-0, leaving Yeshiva at 0-5-1 on the season.
Yeshiva was limited to just two shots in the game, both saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
Rochelle Friedman and
Chaya Weissman each had a chance to score, but both were turned away. Yeshiva's
Eli Goldenberg stopped 10 shots for the Macs, keeping the game within reach for Yeshiva after giving up only one goal in the first half.
Yeshiva's schedule has changed slightly this week, as they will travel to York on Tuesday for a 4PM contest. Their game against Medgar Evers for Thursday has been canceled. Please check the website for up to date information on upcoming games.
