NEW YORK, NY - The Yeshiva women's volleyball team was victorious over Hudson Valley Conference opponent Sarah Lawrence Tuesday night.  The Macs won 3-0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-13) moving their record to 2-8 and 2-2 in the HVWAC. 


Yeshiva's  key to victory was their efficient play as they recorded only 7 attack errors to 21 kills.  The kill to error ratio was the best the Macs have posted so far this season.  Junior Ashley Ansel led the charge with 6 kills to only 1 error.  Ansel also recorded 4 digs and 1 block to add to her stellar performance.  Yeshiva also got the job done on defense as sophomore libero Shira Genauer recorded 10 digs to push her team leading total to 102 digs for the season.  Jackie Berger had her best performance of the season with 7 points, coming on 4 kills and 3 aces.
 
The Yeshiva women's volleyball team is back in action September 23^rd as they face College of Staten Island.  The match will be held at the College of New Rochelle Wellness Center at 8:00 PM.
