NEW YORK, NY – Junior forward Dovie Hoffman was selected as this week's Skyline Conference Player of the Week, after helping the Macs to a 2-win week in conference play.  Yeshiva defeated NYU-Poly Tuesday night and then Maritime Saturday night.  Currently, the Macs are 4-9 in conference play.
 
Hoffman averaged a double-double on the week, with 20 points and 11 rebounds.  He shot an impressive 58% from the field in those three games.  Against NYU-Poly, Hoffman scored 14 points, pulled down 18 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists in the 63-57 victory.  Against Old Westbury, Hoffman poured in 33 points and grabbed 8 boards despite the narrow 91-82 loss.  Finally, against Maritime Saturday night, Hoffman added 13 points and 7 rebounds to his impressive week.
 
The Macs are back in action tonight as they head to Farmingdale for another Skyline game at 8PM.
