Box Score 2 ALBANY, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's volleyball team earned its first win of the season as the Maccabees split a pair of matches at a Skyline Conference tri-match at Sage College Sunday afternoon. The Maccabees opened the day with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22) win over Maritime College, before losing 3-0 (5-25, 13-25, 7-25) to Sage College.
The split leaves the Maccabees at 1-6 (1-4 Skyline) on the season.
In the win over Maritime, Yeshiva was led by
Sarit Zukowsky with 10 kills and 16 digs, while
Kerrin Ast added eight kills and six service aces.
Emily Rohan had 29 assists and five service aces, while
Makena Owens added seven kills and a pair of service aces.
Against Sage, Owens recoded three kills, while
Jackie Berger had two.
Yeshiva is back in action on Wednesday for a game at Sarah Lawrence College at 8 p.m.
