PURCHASE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's soccer team was defeated by Purchase College, 7-0, in a non conference affair on Friday morning.

Purchase led 5-0 at halftime before tacking on two more goals in the second half for the win. The host Panthers outshot the Maccabees 36-0 in the game. Purchase was led by Amanda Green with three goals and Marykate McGee with two. Randi Langdon and Annette Elson added a goal each for the Panthers.

Yeshiva goalkeeper Annie Jaffe made 16 first half saves, while reserve goalkeeper Elana Kook stopped five shots in the second half.

The Maccabees return to action on Sunday for a home contest against Albany College of Pharmacy at 12 noon.
