NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University wrestling team was defeated by New York University 56-0 and lost a tight one to the College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV) 22-21 at NYU's Jerome S. Coles Center on Wednesday evening.
In the match against CMSV, several Yeshiva wrestlers picked up some wins. At 165 pounds,
Ezra Kapetansky earned a pinfall win in 3:43, while
Michael Alpert, in the heavyweight division, earned a 10-4 win over his opponent.
The losses leave the Maccabees at 0-8 overall this season.
Yeshiva is back in action on Wednesday February 4 at Bergen Community College at 8 p.m.
