CAMDEN, N.J.— The Yeshiva women's basketball team lost a contest on the road at New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) representative Rutgers-Camden 80-36 on Sunday afternoon.
The loss leaves Yeshiva at 2-8 overall while Rutgers-Camden improves to 2-7.
The Maccabees were led by
Julia Owen with 19 points and seven rebounds, while
Rachel Mirsky and
Simee Rosner added six points each.
Rutgers-Camden was led by Alex Gravinese with 27 points in twenty-one minutes of action.
The host Scarlet-Raptors led from start to finish. Rutgers-Camden scored the first seven points of the game and increased its lead throughout the contest.
Yeshiva, who closed out its 2014 calendar year, returns to action in 2015 on Sunday, January 25 for a game at Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Albany-Pharmacy at 1 p.m.
