NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team was defeated 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 8-25, 19-25) by Medgar Evers College on Sunday afternoon.
 
Yeshiva is now 0-5 this season. Medgar Evers improves to 2-7 this year.
 
The Maccabees were led by Emily Rohan with five kills (no errors) on 10 attack attempts for a .500 attack percentage, with four service aces and 11 assists. Shana Wolfstein added four kills and five digs for Yeshiva. Shaina Hourizadeh added 13 digs and a service ace, while Marissa Almoslino had three kills and eight digs.
 
Medgar Evers was led by Kalifa Roberts with nine kills, 11 service aces and 12 digs. Kiwelewa Mlimwengua added five kills, three service aces and 15 digs.
 
Yeshiva is back in action on Tuesday for a match against the King's College at the ARC Arena at 8 p.m.
