Box Score THROGGS NECK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's soccer team was defeated by Maritime College 6-1 at Reinhardt Field on Wednesday evening.
After falling behind 4-0 at halftime, the Maccabees scored first in the second half on a goal by
Shlomit Braun, her second of the season, at 52:04, to make the score 4-1.
The host Privateers though second two more goals in the second half to stay ahead and win the contest.
Yeshiva took five shots in the second half, including three by Braun and one each by
Jennifer Shamsian and
Michelle Shamsian.
Elana Kook made 14 saves in net for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva is back in action on Sunday for a match at Albany College of Pharmacy at 1 p.m.
