Box Score ALBANY, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's soccer team lost on the road at defending Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) champion Albany College of Pharmacy (ACP) 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Yeshiva is now 0-9-0 this season and 0-3-0 in HVIAC play. ACP is now 6-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the HVIAC.
ACP was led by Sarah Cope with three goals, while fellow teammate Rebecca Foote had two. The host Panthers scored their first goal 3:49 into the contest on a strike by Cope. Cope would score again at the 9:24 mark of the period to make the score 2-0. The Panthers went up three late in the first half on a goal by Rebecca Foote at the 40:09 mark, before scoring again 42:29 to go into halftime up 4-0.
The Panthers lone goal of the second half came at 55:44 on a strike by Cope.
ACP held a 31-0 advantage on shots, including 22-0 in shots on goal.
Elana Kook made 17 saves for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva returns to action on Wednesday October 1 for a contest against the College of Mount Saint Vincent at Gaelic Park on the campus of Manhattan College at 7 p.m.
