Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's volleyball team was defeated by the College of Staten Island (CSI) 3-0 (14-25, 7-25, 17-25) at the ARC Arena on the campus of Baruch College Thursday evening.
The Maccabees are now 0-2 this year, while CSI is 1-0.
The Maccabees were led by
Kerrin Ast with four kills, while
Emily Rohan added three kills, four assists and four digs.
Shaina Hourizadeh had 12 digs and a service ace in the match.
The College of Staten Island was led by Pola Poskrobko with 11 kills and four service aces, while Brittany Minondo had 10 service aces and 21 assists.
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday for a match at Culinary Institute of America in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) tilt at 1 p.m.
