NEW YORK, N.Y. --- The Yeshiva University women's soccer team lost 1-0 at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at Randall's Island on Sunday evening.
 
Yeshiva (1-11) senior goalkeeper Annie Jaffe (Cleveland, Ohio / Fuchs Mizrachi) recorded ten saves in goal for the Maccabees, holding the Bloodhounds of John Jay (4-10-2) to only one goal, that coming in the 56th minute. It was the second fewest goals allowed by Yeshiva on the season.
 
The Maccabees finished with five shots overall and three on goal, coming from senior midfielder Jennifer Shamsian (W. Hempstead, N.Y. / HAFTR), senior midfielder Natasha Bassalian (London, England / HANC) and senior forward Merav Saden Barach (Teaneck, N.J. / Bruriah).
 
Yeshiva is back on the field on Wednesday when they host Berkeley College at Riverside County Park South in North Arlington, New Jersey.
