NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University men's volleyball lost a pair of matches today at home in a Skyline Conference tri-match. The Maccabees lost 3-0 (10-25, 21-25, 21-25) to New Jersey City University (NJCU), before falling 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 23-25, 18-25) to Purchase College.
The Maccabees are now 6-16 overall and 2-11 in the Skyline Conference.
In the match against NJCU, Yeshiva was led by
Tuvia Marks with five kills, while
Eliakim Gartenberg,
Benjamin Mann and
Kolya Miller had four kills each.
Mishael Miller added 11 digs, while
Jonathan Goldstein had 15 assists and three digs.
Against Purchase College, Mann led the way with nine kills and 10 digs, while Marks had seven kills, two service aces and three total blocks. Gartenberg had six kills and four total blocks, while
Joseph Lipton had 16 digs.
Yeshiva is back in action on Monday for a match at home against Ramapo College at 7 p.m.
