Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY --- The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team lost in three sets at Bard College on Thursday night in a match played at the Stevenson Center in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. The set scores were 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 in favor of the host Raptors.
Junior middle-blocker
Gavriela Colton led Yeshiva with three kills, a service ace and a block. Junior libero
Shaina Hourizadeh finished with a team-best seven digs, while junior middle-blocker
Marissa Almoslino posted two kills and four digs with an ace. Senior setter
Emily Rohan had five digs, two set assists and a kill.
Bard was led by freshman outside hitter Sofia Koukia, who had a match-high 12 kills with three service aces and six digs. The Raptors collectively finished with 21 service aces.
The Maccabees are now 1-3 on the season while the Raptors improve to 2-4.
Yeshiva will be back on the court on Sunday, September 20th for the Skyline Conference Multi-Match hosted by SUNY Maritime College. They will take on the host Privateers 10:00 a.m. before meeting the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's College of Long Island at 12:00 p.m.
