NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team dropped its season finale to Pratt Institute, 7-1, on Randall's Island Field 91 on Sunday afternoon. The Cannoneers outscored the Maccabees, 4-1, in the opening half and added three more in the second to secure the win.
Yeshiva's (1-14) lone goal came in the 28
th minute, when sophomore midfielder
Moreet Levine received a pass from senior midfielder
Natasha Bassalian off a corner kick and launched the ball into the back of the net to put the home team on the board.
For the match, Pratt (4-0) outshot Yeshiva, 28-4, and had a slight edge in corner kicks, 8-6. Freshman goalkeeper
Gabriella Chutter made six saves for the Maccabees.
It was senior day as Yeshiva University honored graduating seniors
