TEANECK, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's soccer team concluded the 2016 season by battling Baruch to a thrilling 4-4 tie at Votee Park on Friday afternoon. Yeshiva trailed three times during the contest, but was able to comeback each time.
It was a wide open match with both teams getting plenty of chances. Yeshiva (5-11-2) outshot Baruch (5-9-3), 30-25, and had the edge in corner kicks, 6-5.
Baruch scored the lone goal in the first 45 minutes of the contest, but in the second half, both teams started to find the back of the net. In the 69
th minute, senior forward
Itamar Ben David found sophomore forward
Albert Dichy who kicked the ball, while sliding in the box, into the cage to tie the match at one.
Less than five minutes later, the Bearcats scored off a header to regain the lead. The Maccabees struck back just over six minutes after Baruch's second goal, as Ben David fed the ball to freshman
Netanel Silberman who kicked the ball off the goalkeeper and into the net to tie the match at two. In the 83

Juan Cotton and went on a breakaway. He propelled the ball past Baruch's net minder to give the home team its first lead of the afternoon.
Two minutes after Yeshiva gained the advantage, Baruch scored twice to jump back into the lead, 4-3, stunning the Maccabees. With less than three minutes remaining in regulation time, sophomore forward
Julian Ribak was at the right place at the right time as he received a rebound off the goalie and launched the ball into the net from 15-yards out, tying the contest at four. Dichy and SIlberman were credited with the assists. The match was tied at four after the first 90 minutes so extra time was needed.
