YONKERS, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team was defeated by Sarah Lawrence College, 8-0, at Tibbetts Brook Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Gryphons (2-3, 1-1 Skyline) scored two goals in the opening half and then added six in the second to secure the win.

Freshman goalkeeper Gabriella Chutter made seven saves in net for the Maccabees (0-7, 0-3 Skyline), while Sophia Blumenstrauch produced a shot on goal.

Yeshiva will be back in action on Tuesday, for a Skyline Conference road match at St. Joseph's L.I., beginning at 8:00 p.m.
