NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team dropped both matches in the Skyline Conference Tri-Match to Mount Saint Vincent and St. Joseph's L.I. , at Baruch College on Sunday afternoon.

In the match against Mount Saint Vincent, set scores were 25-13, 25-6, and 25-11. Senior middle blocker Gavriela Colton led the Maccabees on the offensive side with five kills, while classmate Shaina Hourizadeh led the way defensively with 11 digs. Senior setter Yael Ghelman produced eight assists, while sophomore middle blocker Sarah Rowan had four kills with five digs. Junior outside hitter Ilana Leggiere added four digs of her own.

In the match against St. Joseph's L.I., set scores were 25-5, 25-7, and 25-9. Colton added four more kills, while Hourizadeh once again had 11 digs. Junior setter Esther Alexander and sophomore middle blocker Sarah Rowan each produced a block, while junior opposite hitter Dalia Sieger recorded five digs.

The Maccabees will be back in action on Tuesday, for a non-conference match at Delaware Valley, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
