NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to Mount Saint Mary College, 74-27, at the Kaplan Center on Tuesday evening.
Mount Saint Mary (4-3, 3-0 Skyline) jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (2-6, 1-3 Skyline) was senior forward
Michal Alge, who led all players with 15 rebounds. She scored a team-high nine points, distributed two assists, and forced a steal. Freshman forward
Celia Cohen had eight points, with two rebounds, and a steal. Classmate
Lindsay Brandwein and junior guard
Nicole Bick each scored four points, with the former grabbing three rebounds and a steal, while the latter had two steals and a rebound of her own.

The Maccabees will travel to Purchase College on Thursday, for a Skyline Conference contest against the Panthers. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
