BRONX, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's golf team earned a hard-fought Skyline Conference victory over the College at Old Westbury, 328-343, at the Split Rock Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. The match served as a final tune-up before the Skyline Conference Championship, which begins on October 21.
Yeshiva broke 330 for the first time this season, which was a goal of the program. "It was a great win," Yeshiva University head coach Jason Eisenman said. "The guys played very consistent golf throughout the day by keeping the ball in play and limiting the bad holes. We are going into the conference championship with a lot of momentum and we are excited to get out there and play some good golf."
Leading the way for the Maccabees was junior
Alex Malech, who shot a 79. The West Orange native birdied the eighth and 15
th holes.

Izak Held and sophomore
Daniel Spirgel each registered an 82, while junior
Jordan Soclof held an 85.
The Skyline Conference Championship will take place at the Baiting Hollow Club. The first round will take place on Sunday, and the next round will occur the next day.
