YONKERS, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team dropped its Skyline Conference matchup to Sarah Lawrence College, 9-0, at Fleming Field on Wednesday evening. The Gryphons advance to 3-3 in conference play (5-6 overall), while the Maccabees drop to 0-7 in Skyline contests (0-10 overall).
For Sarah Lawrence, Tiffany McBrayer and Kiley Ritter each produced a hat trick, while Sophia Spralja netted a pair of goals and added two assists. Madison Mertsch tallied a goal, while Maddie Eppier produced a helper.
For the Maccabees, sophomore goalkeeper
Rivka Lindenblatt started the match and turned aside 12 shots, while junior goalkeeper
Gabriella Chutter made seven saves in relief.
Yeshiva will take on St. Joseph's Long Island, in a Skyline Conference battle at Danzi Stadium, on Friday morning. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
