NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team concluded the 2018 season with a non-conference loss to Pratt Institute, 3-0, at Randall's Island Field 10 on Sunday evening.
Yeshiva (0-14) was led by second-year goalkeeper
Rivka Lindenblatt, who stopped a season-high 17 shots. She was just two shy of her career-mark that was set last season against Farmingdale State.
The Maccabees' defense held the Cannoneers (3-7-1) to one goal in the opening half, but Pratt scored two insurance goals in the second stanza to clinch the victory. Carlyle MacDonald led the way with a pair of goals, including the game-winner. Lily Gaunt successfully converted a penalty kick, while Brittany Lovegrove and Caitlin Fortune each recorded an assist.
It was senior night, as graduating seniors
Elana Muller,
Batsheva Kivelevitz,
Nicole Bick,
Rebecca Rothschild,
Moreet Levine, Lindenblatt, and
Eliana Tuchman were honored with a ceremony prior to the start of the match.
