FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of Skyline contests, in a conference tri-match at Farmingdale State, on Sunday afternoon. The Maccabees fell to the Bears of St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, in straight sets, while falling in the second end to the host Rams by a score of 3-0.
In the first match against the Bears (12-10, 5-5 Skyline), set scores were 25-7, 25-8, and 25-14. The Macs (1-15, 0-10 Skyline) had a strong match defensively, producing 32 digs as a team. Sophomore middle blocker
Tehilla Teigman produced a match-high eight digs, recorded a block, and slammed home a pair of kills. Sophomore outside hitter
Rebekah Bargraser anchored the defense with six digs, and added three kills with a service ace on offense. Senior outside hitter
Batya Schreier registered a team-high seven assists, added just as many digs, and produced a kill. Senior middle blocker
Abigail Epstein contributed with five digs, while classmate
Kayla Gross had three digs with a kill. Senior right side hitter
Ilana Karp registered a dig and a service ace, while classmate
Melissa Stock and first-year player
Ellie Chase each had a dig of their own.
Against the Rams (9-22, 6-4 Skyline), all three set scores were identical at 25-6. Bargraser came back to add six more digs with a kill, while Schreier had four assists with three digs. Epstein recorded two digs, with a kill, while Gross and sophomore outside hitter

Yeshiva will conclude the 2018 season with a non-conference matchup at Pratt, at the Pratt ARC, on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
