Mount Saint Mary Edges Men's Golf in Skyline Dual-Match

BRONX, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's golf team suffered a narrow Skyline Conference loss to Mount Saint Mary College, 331-333, at the Split Rock Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

Leading the way for the Maccabees was senior Izak Held, who scored an 80. Junior Alex Malech and classmate Jordan Soclof each registered an 84, while junior Solomon Shulman carded an 85.

Despite the loss, Yeshiva University head coach Jason Eisenman is encouraged with the way the team is improving. "This is definitely a step in the right direction and the team is starting to play well at the right time before the conference championship," Eisenman said. "I'm proud of the guys and how they battled today."

Yeshiva will return to the Split Rock Golf Course on Sunday, for a Skyline match against the College at Old Westbury, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
