NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team suffered a non-conference loss to the City College of New York in straight sets, at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-15, 25-11, and 25-9.
The Beavers (2-2) never trailed at any point in the match. Yeshiva (0-3) fell behind 22-10 in the opening set, but scored three consecutive points thanks to back-to-back kills by sophomore middle blocker

Melissa Stock scored a service ace. It would not be enough as CCNY went on to win the opening stanza, 25-15. The Beavers won the next two sets to earn the win in their home opener.
For the contest, Teigman led the Maccabees with three kills, two aces, a pair of digs, one assist, and a block. Senior outside hitter

Julie Chase registered a pair of assists, produced a kill, and scored a service ace, while senior middle blocker

Yeshiva will open up Skyline Conference play on Thursday, against Maritime College, at the ARC Arena. First serve is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
