EDGEWATER, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team earned a convincing Skyline victory over Sarah Lawrence College, 9-0, at the Binghamton Racquet Club on Tuesday evening. The Maccabees advance to 3-0 in conference play (8-5 overall), while the Gryphons fall in their season-opener.
Yeshiva extends its Skyline winning-streak to 33 matches.
Leading the way for the Blue and White was junior
Lior Brik, who dominated at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and teamed with freshman
Meir Melamed to earn the victory at No. 2 doubles, 8-2. Melamed won every game at No. 4 singles.

Jeremy Brody joined forces with sophomore
Jonathan Kestenbaum to win every game at the third doubles position. Brody came back to win a very competitive second singles battle in a ten-point tiebreaker, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (11-9). Kestenbaum was victorious at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-0.

Mikey Ozery and freshman
Samuel Edery wrapped up doubles play with a victory at the first position, 8-5. Edery returned to win at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1, while sophomore
Ezra Rudansky won 12 out of 13 games to claim the fifth singles flight.
Yeshiva will resume and conclude its suspended match at Division I Fordham University, on Wednesday evening, at 9:00 p.m. The match began this past Sunday but was called due to rain.
