BELLPORT, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's golf team competed in the second day of the St. Joseph's College Long Island Classic at the Bellport Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva finished 10
th overall during the second round, scoring a 355 as a team. Dominican College (N.Y.) earned first place overall with a score of 615 over the course of two rounds (312 in the first and 303 in the second).
Leading the way for the Maccabees was senior
Izak Held, who carded an 83. Junior
Jordan Soclof was right behind him with an 84. Sophomore
Evan Lebor (92), junior
Jonathan Pomper (96), and classmate
Ethan Felder (104) also competed in the meet for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva will close out the season against Moravian College, at the Saucon Valley Country Club, on Thursday. Tee-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
