FLUSHING, N.Y. – The No. 1 Yeshiva University men's tennis team earned a victory in its Skyline conference semifinal match over the No. 4 United States Merchant Marine Academy, 6-1, at the USTA National Tennis Center, on Friday afternoon.
The Maccabees will aim for its sixth straight Skyline tournament title, and automatic bid into the NCAA tournament, on Sunday, as Yeshiva will take on No. 2 Farmingdale State College for the conference championship. The site and time of the Skyline championship match will be announced on Saturday night. The Rams edged the No. 3 Panthers of Purchase College, 5-4, in the other Skyline semifinal match, this past Thursday afternoon.
