EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's soccer team dropped a competitive match to St. Joseph's College Long Island, 2-0, at Veteran's Field Park on Tuesday evening. The Macs drop to 2-3-1 for the season (0-2-1 Skyline), while the Golden Eagles advance to 1-4-0 overall (1-0-0 Skyline)

th minute, but junior goalkeeper Tyler Flaherty would deny the ball from going into the net each time. The Maccabees could not find the back of the cage, despite their flurry of chances, as the Golden Eagles went on to earn their first victory of the season.
Senior forward Rayneri Ruiz and junior defender Dylan Rieckehoff each tallied an assist for the visiting team.
Yeshiva was narrowly outshot, 20-16, during the match.

Sagi Badash made 10 saves to keep Yeshiva in the contest, while his counterpart Flaherty stopped all 11 shots he faced to earn the shutout victory.
The Maccabees will battle the Panthers of the College at Old Westbury, on Friday afternoon, at Panther Park. The Skyline match will begin at 11:00 a.m.
