PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to St. Joseph's College Long Island, 9-0, at GoValiants.com Field on Tuesday evening.
The Golden Eagles (3-2-1, 1-0-0 Skyline) scored seven of their nine goals in the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (1-7, 0-4 Skyline) was sophomore goalkeeper
Shani Kravetz, who made 13 saves.
Yeshiva will return to GoValiants.com Field on Friday, this time as the visiting team, against the host Manhattanville Valiants. The Skyline contest will begin at 1:00 p.m.
