OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to the College at Old Westbury, in straight sets, on Sunday afternoon. Set scores were 25-4, 25-8, and 25-7.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (0-11, 0-6 Skyline) was senior middle blocker
Tehilla Teigman, who produced a match-high nine digs, slammed home three kills, and had a block. Sophomore outside hitter
Maya Rosen added two kills, while junior outside hitter
Rebekah Bargraser and senior right side hitter
Ayelet Berger each had a kill, with the former recording two digs. Senior right side hitter
Batya Schreier produced a pair of assists and three digs, while junior setter
Brooke Ratner added two assists and a dig. Sophomore middle blocker
Rena Kahn had an assist of her own and junior setter
Julie Chase provided a dig.
Yeshiva will battle Farmingdale State College, at the Nold Hall Athletic Complex, on Tuesday. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
