PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University women's soccer team suffered a non-conference loss to Gallaudet University, 8-0, at the Purchase College Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Bison (2-2) tallied seven of its eight goals in the opening 45 minutes of the match. Yeshiva's (1-4) defense settled in and held Gallaudet to just one goal during the second period. 

For the Maccabees, sophomore goalkeeper Katheryn Weinberg made five saves in her collegiate debut in goal. Junior midfielder Elizabeth Pavel produced three shots on net. 

Yeshiva will return to action on Friday morning with a Skyline match against Sarah Lawrence College. The match will take place on Randall's Island Field 10, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
