PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to Manhattanville College, 4-2, at the Manhattanville Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon.
The Valiants (4-5, 2-4 Skyline) won both doubles flights that were played and won a pair of singles matches.
Sophomore
Liana Friedman led the way for the Maccabees (0-5, 0-5 Skyline) by winning the fourth singles battle, 6-1, 6-2. Junior
Naomi Feinberg won at No. 6 singles by default, while classmate
Esther Ackerman's No. 1 singles battle went unfinished due to darkness.
Yeshiva will battle Purchase College, at the Purchase College Tennis Courts, on Sunday morning. The Skyline contest is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
