MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The Yeshiva University women's soccer team had a strong effort defensively, but it was not enough as YU fell to Saint Elizabeth University by a score of 2-0 at the SEU Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles (2-10) scored twice during the first 45 minutes of the match but the Maccabees' (0-11) defense held them scoreless throughout the second half.

Lior Pinchot tallied four out of the Macs' five shots during the afternoon.
For the Eagles, sophomore midfielder Dennise Gamino scored the first goal during the 32
nd minute. She assisted on senior forward Carisa Kirkland's tally in the 40
th minute. In net, freshman Cecilia Smith earned the shutout victory.
Yeshiva will travel to the Bronx, on Tuesday evening, to take on Lehman College on the South Field. The non-conference contest is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
